Fareway and Melanie, their spokesperson, came to visit our 4 and 5 year old class on Wednesday, October 13th to make tummy nummies recipes. The tummy nummies promotion is a contest Fareway created as a fun way to get kid's to eat healthy snacks with the chance to win $5,000 in Fareway groceries, plus lots of other prizes as well. The kids and Melanie made graham cracker dominoes and fruit kabobs; both are easy snacks that are fun to make and taste great too!
They had a great time and all the kids did a great job and enjoyed eating their snacks too!
